(Matador Records Week, Day #4)Considered one of the best indie songs of the ’90s, Superchunk’s first single from their 1990 s/t debut album became an indie anthem and helped define Matador as a label to be reckoned with. If there was an Indie Rock Hall of Fame, Superchunk would be one of the first bands inducted into it. Assuming, of course, that anyone showed up to open the place.
